Microsoft are continually endeavouring to make their Xbox Live experience as fun and interactive as possible for existing players and newcomers to the machine. As capabilities grow, Microsoft are able to include many awesome features online, e.g Twitter, Sky and Netfix. One of the noteworthy and exciting impending ventures is Xbox 360 virtual arcade, which is gathering much excitment from players.

Microsoft are expanding upon the facility to access classic games online by developing their new Xbox 360 virtual arcade. The intention is to re-introduce various games which many veteran and sentimental gameplayers want to play again. While a lot of those titles may seem simplistic or maybe laughable to the customers of today, Microsoft believe that a lot are still awesome games worth looking into.

Examples of the games lined up for this feature comprise such gems as Rocket Knight, Centipede, Streets of Rage and even fan fave Asteroids. These titles will mean absolutely everything to those users who grew up on them, and offer a decent alternative to the bigger games of the day. The Xbox 360 virtual arcade even offers gamers their own interactive arcade home. When a user purchases one of the classic games, they are able to position it anywhere in their arcade, and they even appear as the retro arcade cabinets!

Finally, Microsoft's new feature is ful ly interactive, so gameplayers can invite their friends to enter and game in their arcade. Voice chat is supported with avatars, leaderboards, multiplayer functions and more. In exchange for Microsoft points you are able to craft your own New Xbox 360 Virtual Arcade, and enjoy some retro games with your pals!
