Titles to Look Out For: The Bioshock 2 Game

It's often agreed by countless gamers and critics alike that Bioshock is one of the best First Person Shooters produced in the past decade. It holds a standard critic rating of 96% at Metacritic.com, and some forums even describe the title as a work of art. Bioshock's storyline is in myriad techniques based on and electrified by the top selling novel "Atlas Shrugged", and revolves round the geopolitical situations occurring in an oceanic Atlantis-like metropolis named Rapture.

Following a change from the first title, the Bioshock 2 game will put gamers in control of the sluggish and steady lumbering Big Daddy. As players of the first game will understand, Rapture was developed with the plan of making a society freed from capitalistic central authority rules and religious moralities, but naturally, it all went significantly pear-shaped. As Bioshock protagonist Jack discovered, changed and mutated and horrible fiends named Splicers were at large in the district, roaming and killing at will. These creatures were fundamentally all that was leftof the populace.

During the Bioshock 2 game, Big Daddy undertakes the difficult task of returning to Rapture, looking into a chain of abductions. It appears the many Little Sisters that succeeded in making it to the top level in the first game are being robbed away and returned to the shadows of Rapture, and it's up to Big Daddy to put things right.

The Bioshock 2 game follows the groundwork and peculiarities of the first, with some prominent twists on the gaming. Graphical enhancements are also there, with the game running a lot more smoothlysmoother, allowing for a seamless display of visuals. This contributes to the feel of a good game, and creators 2K have pulled it off with aplomb.

Naturally being in charge of a robot does bring varied gaming benefits, he is ready to mix a number of drills and guns in one hand, whilst utilizing the magical 'plasmid' with the other hand. Plasmid is used to make electricity, fire and also to manipulate things using telekinesis. The talents are improved during the game and levelled up as you continue.

A great deal of skill and care has been in the Bioshock 2 game. There are some updated areas in Rapture, it's now easy to explore the ocean bed and research the secrets around the bubble of the city. One draw back with the first was that the range of monsters was quite limited and incessant, and this has been rectified in the sequel with a range of new nasties. Look out for Big Sister, who hinders your progress and will attempt and you at varied parts. 2K Games are hoping for a distribution this Fall, and for many fans of the first, the Bioshock 2 game is being released simultaneously on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms and cannot come soon enough for fans of Bioshock.
